:)

Members that are fans of Dennis Grips please read:

I love the wood, fit, and finish that Dennis provides. Just not the screws that are included. They are cheap, short, and brittle. Dennis does not have a machine shop at his disposal (This is the member that would love to have a hacked up piece of a rear frame show up in the mail, in Hungary one day, to help the members here out)..........

Anyway,

M3 .50 pitch x 28 (or so, this is why it is custom work)

Do we have a member who is a screw cutter?

I have only found the screws I have required installing the Dennis grips at ACE Hardware, and in Phillips head, which drives me nuts. Polish Phillips head screws only turn left, so my grips are loose!

Wait, that belonged in another post :D

I am looking for any suggestions as to where I can get "factory type" screws that will fit the Dennis grips. I found stainless steel at a custom screw place, but nothing that I could cold blue. I also cold blue the washers that Dennis provides.

NORM? Any ideas?

I know you are a chrome guy, but I am a blues man 8-)

I like "factory dark custom". That's a new term I guess >:(

;)

Hi Norm,

I was not aware that stainless would react that way.

I'll try it.

Thanks, Fritzhund
