How bad was it Norm?

Was it mostly stock refinishing, or did you have to do work to the metal as well?

mostly stock refinishing it had some pretty bad digs in it, some one blued the bolt and didn't take it apart to blue it so there was some surface rust on the firing pin , the stock was in real bad shape, the bore is chromed and its bight and shiny ,

How much did you have to put into it for parts, if any?

What shape were the the pistons, springs, and gas tube in?

I have two Yugo SKS's in the collection. One is VG and the other is un-issued, cleaned. They are fun as hell to shoot.

I am looking at a couple of Russians at the local shop. Albanians are hard to find and expensive for beat ones! I am not a fan of the stamped Chinese ones.

I am thinking about getting one of these. Was the stock so beat up that you would have put as much time into a cracked stock?

I would do as you did and spend the extra for a non-cracked stock, but if that stock was a mess, I would EBR it, stock, scope, and all!

What was the final bill OTD?
I will C&R so it would be the same I assume.
