'42 S&W Victory Model

Post by papabear »

This is a 1942 Victory model 4" .38 spec, I picked up recently, the parkized finish is only about 70%, and it has some light pitting, but it has a beautiful brown patina look about it. The barrel is bright and shinny with strong lands and grooves and the lock up is tight, it didn't come with the the WWII smooth walnut grips I added those, it will make a good shooter, the holster is a WWII model M1942, it was still in a plastic wrap and I'm 90% pretty sure its original. These old guns are getting harder and harder to find, got it from a walk in for $150.
