Don't they teach you anything at the Police Academy?

:P

Sorry but I couldn't resist as you haven't been around much!

I hope all is well.

Vol,
You don't know how much I went back and forth on this. But one of the guys at Craig's is a 1911 match shooter. He tore it apart for me and checked everything. He said it was sound. All he said he would add is a CM extended slide release. :)

Awesome Lookoking ! I still haven't ever shot a .45 cal. I think I'll stop over at the range and rent one now that I've seen that ! Income Tax returns ROOL!!! I may buy one if i can get one cheap enough. although I am interested ,firstly, in the Star 9mm pistol that looks like a scaled down 1911. My wife said I could put it on layaway...for HER ! hehehe Imagine how kewl how that'd look with TTH's "touch" on it? Nice . Thanks for the Pics and I hope you enjoy it ,Grayfox !!!!! G

Well both the S.A.M & the Springfield got a full cleaning & lube, then to the range. Shooting both WWB JHP, Hornady, ect. The S.A..M jammed once, the Springfield eat everything I fed it without a hitch & the groups were tighter.I was using two Ed Brown mags & one Chip Mc & one colt mag. So the S.A.M is now loaded as a HD gun & the Springer will be my "work" gun. Had a fun day :)
ps,
I did add an extended slide release (wilson), and that really made it nice.

greyfox, I have one of the Springfield loaded and I will thell you right now IMHO I think it is worth every penny. When I shoot it feels like butter on the recoil. Congrats on the pick up I know you will be very happy with it!!! p.s. I used it on my CCW shooting part of the exam.

Thanks Blinddog,
Not because I now own one, but it is so far the smoothest, best shooting 45 I have. This one I'd trust my life on. :)
