P-64 Independence Day Shoot *Results Posted*

Post by barnett3006 »

guys,

I want to thank everyone for participating in our first post-in shoot, I had allot of fun and I feel it was a great success. Thanks to Norm for donating the prizes and thanks to the moderators for running such a great forum.

A labor day shoot sounds good to me. I am more then willing to run future shoots if you guys want or we can pass the torch around. If anyone has any suggestions for rule changes let me know.

I'll be better prepared next time. I realized after I posted the target that I had set up at 30 yards, not 10 yards. I may be able to improve my score next shoot.

Then again, maybe not ...

:o :o :o

I tried shooting my P64 at 30 yards from a rest a few times...my sight picture was dead on but the bullet holes just didn't want to be close together ;)

I shot my P64 at steel plates set up at 30 yards

...heard a clang

...but I think I hit a car in the parking lot.

You and anjdrifter must be in the same league, when he goes to range the range master calls FFA and requests a No Fly Over while he is there............ ;D

for a prize for our shoots I think it would be neat to create a virtual trophy. Some kind of avatar picture that would display the winners bragging rights every time he/she posted. I am picturing this as a certificate that contains the shoots name and date, the winners name, his score and group size, and 1st out of X number of competitors. The winner could display this as his avatar until the next shoot, the certificate could then be moved to the signature line which would be used as a trophy case.
