SS Mak Frames

Has anyone seen one of the SS Mak frames that are showing up in the parking lots of Alabama gun shows? Thanks Orchidhunter

My brother in law told me he had heard about them at the show in Dothan, AL. last weekend, but no mention of actually seeing one. He just asked if I had ever heard of them, of course I hadn't.

SS like in German Nazi secret police or as in Stainless Steel?

What are we talking about here? I've seen this questioned asked on another forum as well without an answer there either.

must be Stainless Steel.....I think the Mak was designed in the late 40's and came into service around '51 or '52, so must be talking about stainless.

Thanks for the info. I had heard the rumor on Gunboards, etc. and had my hopes up but could not actually locate any for sale. You just can't believe everything you read on the internet!
