How's Your Weather?

Post by redfestiva »

I'm in SW Ohio and I woke up this morning to about 4" of fresh snowfall and it's still coming down.. It looks good from the window but I hope it stops soon.

Man! NB, sorry you are having to deal with all the mess in your neck of the woods. The news showed some pretty frightening scenes after the rain hit on top of all that snow. ???

Thanks for the inquiries Papabear and Gotmak,

Geologists don't live next to rivers. I'm up at 850-feet; I put up with extra snow but I'm pretty immune from flooding. But what's happening around me is remarkable. Highway I-5 from Portland to Seattle has been out since Monday and won't be open until Friday. Truckers have to detour through Eastern Washington - some 400 miles out of the way ...

Truckers are the backbone of America! I feel for those guys many times but when they have to put chains on during an ice storm .... UGH!!!
