I've heard a lot of people swear by it. Here's a link for home made Ed's Red:

I read where it can leave red stains on some parts, other than that everyone seems to like it. The best part about everyone's different recipes,is that they are all cleaning their guns no matter what they use !
Nothing outlasts an Energizer, Nothing cuts grease like Dawn. just a couple handy observations unrelated to guns. G

You got it. I know for sure you can get it at Mexico Beach and Panama City probably lots of other places too. Know the guy that started making it he was finally talked in to going commercial. It is truely wonderful on oysters.

Rocky Mountain Oysters with sauce ??? I get chills just thinking about them. :'(

Watched Anthony Bourdain on the travel channel, he is a New York Chef and eats his was around the world. Interesting show and a funny guy. Anyways he was in Vietnam and one menu item brought to the table was Ox penis and testicles... :'(...he ate them and raved how delicious they were (compared to others he'd had...buffalo, goat, sheep... :'(...that's when I declare that I'm a vegetarian!!! 8-)
