Papabear,
I have 123 photos and 2 videos on my Photobucket account right now and I've never paid one cent? Where do you get that you can only put 12 photos on?

G.R.

I know you can't directly to the forum you have to go though something like http://photobucket.com/
the forum doesn't have the space for pix and also if you can't directly upload to the forum it makes it harder for hacker's

NORM
I use
www.imageshack.us

myself...No limit, no fee--but no account, either, just post it to imageshack, link it to whatever forum, etc, you're wanting to post to--then forget it! :D

I still have the problem of almost no free space on this clunker computer. It's fine for surfing etc., but I'm afraid that if I try to download one more program the old girl will crash.

Himmel,
Is imageshack a web sight that you can post on without down loading anything, that would solve my immediate problem. I'm beginning to think some of the boys at the forum think I may speak with forked tongue.

G.R. I use photobucket and there is no downloaded program to install onto your computer. You just upload your existing photos onto their site after you set up an account. Hope this helps.

I like photobucket but here is a link to yet another similar site (no downloading a program) basically you are using there site to store photos and since it is a public site , the photo is then available to the public for viewing (just like us, we can't access your computer but once you put your photo on a site like Photobucket then we can access them there)

Yes, it's a website, like photobucket--no program to download, unless you want to post multiple pics at the same time. But unlike photobucket, you don't have to establish an account to use it--just go to the site, there's a "browse" window and upload button right there. The down side, like I said, is that you don't have an account to access to see all the pics you have posted, like you can at photobucket. So it's good for posting pics to a forum like this, but not really for storing them to go back and look at later.

gr,

I can recommend getting a Gateway refurbished computer from TigerDirect. I got mine three years ago and it has been great.
I like it every bit as good as the Dell 4700 I bought new for my wife, and it cost about one third the price. Here's a picture that shows all the features I have except I've now got a whole gig of ram. It comes with a great oem package that includes Microsoft Picture It. I don't get any consideration from TigerDirect or anything like that, I just love this thing and it's given me no grief at all. I went to TD lately and they now have some great ones, even dual cores, at terrific prices. I can vouch that they are a straight-forward and helpful bunch to deal with.

I took an image so you can see what I got included for less than $600.00:

This, of course, comes with the keyboard, mouse, speakers and a warranty that you can extend.

With a lot of help from several sources I was able to post a photo of my PM9 at the General P64 Discussion page. I want to thank every one who took the time to walk me through the steps, believe me I wouldn't have been able to do it with out your help.
Thanks again............... G.R.
