Went to the range with my P-64, Kel-Tec 380 and Rock Island 45.
Shot about 50 rounds through the P-64 and only experience one failure (first one ever). The gun failed to fire and the trigger behave like the safety was on, but it wasn't. Hammer was down.
I recycled the safety and was able to fire the round in the chamber. Never experience this type of failure before.
Isn't a light strike?
Kel-Tec continues to be a head ache. Won't extract reliably. I continue to tweak it a little at time and go back to the range. My patience is about run out on it.
The Rock was failing to load reliably, but I think it was the mag, because the rounds were almost straight up when loading. Totally missing the feed ramp. Wasn't very prepare that day as I didn't have another mag with me.
Thanks for listening.

Range - not so good day
Mort
Sorry you had such a bad day the range
a bad at the range is still better than a good day at work
your P-64 I think I would take the safety a part any check it out anyway
there have been problems with the safeties dropping before

Range - not so good day
Thanks Norm,
These days happen sometimes. I'll will take the safety a part and check it out. Its funny but not unusual that my recollection of the event isn't very clear. I don't think the safety actually physically dropped. Its not hard to manipulate but not easy either.
After your memory goes what's next?
I may have to take my .357 to the range and fired off 50 rounds or so. That always makes me feel better.
