They certainly have some kinks to work out.

I appreciate their rules on the Makarov forum:

"No flame wars or personal attacks. If you have a problem with another post, take it up off line with that person. The Private message system works very well, and can be found at the top of your screen."

papabear - unfortunately, on this forum that rule is not enforced. Members can post angry messages, calling you personally by name, without consequences. Try that on Gunboards and see what happens. I don't check in here much anymore.

But I look forward to the new Gunboards forum. Once I can log in!

each forum on gun boards has its own set of rules and I've seen flaming go on for a week and a half on one forum and some of the rules suck because it stops people from posting information someone might need

but all forums have their pros and cons

I like gun broads but I love this one

Is it me or does the new Gunboards site still suck...I mean is it still really really slooooow??

Everything else I click on is almost instantaneous but the gunboards link just sits there and sits there one little thingy at a time showing it's loading ever sooooo ... well you get it.

I actually miss the old board.

It is very slow right now, they have a lot to iron out with the new web site, I guess we will just have to wait and be patient.........
