I received the Auction Arms e-mail also. I already use Auction Arms and Gunbroker and they are both fine but some kind of on-line payment method is needed because of PayPal's gun restrictions. I have done some business on eBay (700 feedback) and they have become more and more restrictive in their gun policies. After PayPal was acquired by eBay PayPal cancelled my account for violation of the high capacity magazine restrictions. An audit revealed that I had either paid for and/or received payment thru PayPal for high capacity magazines (I had bought some 13-15 round Hi-Power magazines online and sold some of them on Auction Arms or Gunbroker). There evidently is no appeal to a PayPal decision. I did fine without PayPal until I got ready to order grips from Dennis in Hungary and magazines from STAR in Spain so my wife opened a PayPal account in her name for me to use. PayPal sucks but what are the alternatives? Is Gearpay being accepted by a lot of vendors now? Is there anything else that looks promising?

I know PAYPAL is blocking donations to gun related forums now.
NORM
+1 with Norm, I've been with paypal for quite a while and haven't had a problem since I signed up, but back on July 21 they blocked a donation I was trying to make to the S&W Forum, so I said screw em, and sent a MO.
I have used PAYPAL for years too and never had a problem with them ether
I just heard they blocking donations on the SKS site
so the new owner of the site found http://www.gearpay.com/ and they are pro gun
Hello All,
I got the notice early this morning from Auction Arms and promptly closed my account with ebay. I've been trying to find a way to contact them to let them know about the action that I've taken and why, I also intend to tell them that they can expect more people to fallow suite. Still haven't found an email address to send the info to but I'll keep trying. If enough people refuse to business with them because of this new can of worms it will have the desired affect. Every one should do every thing they can to contact all the gun boards across the country. WE ARE THE SILENT MAJORITY AND IF WE STAND UNITED WE CAN STOP THIS AND ANY OTHER ASSAULT ON OUR FREEDOMS, NOTHING SPEAKS LOUDER TO THIS KIND OF POND SCUM THAN LOST CASH. It may hurt for a short while but if we pull our merchandise, not just gun related and refuse to do business with these people and their de facto associates they will get in line.

here is the question I asked because they didnt have way to do what they said they were doing. I think they jumped the gun(sorry ;D) and didnt have the site ready to accomadate but I will wait a while and see afterall done with ebay anyway. by the way I have used Gunbroker and was happy with them.
I emailed 1st thing this morning asking if you had different link for us ebayers I mean ex ebayers to use so we could use the features you mentioned, all there is available is the standard fee signup and etc...if not separate link how do we get the info on your site. ie feedback mine is a hundred and twenty something and some other features. thanks al
here is answer i got from a forum on auction arms. anjdrifter, welcome! Hang tight, they will get back to you. That's another good thing about this site. No canned BS contact forms. You will get an answer. The management's working on this hard, so it might be a little wait. Just glad I bought those coffee contracts before this went down, cause I know the AA crew's sucking it down.
Has anyone let Bartos in on the latest bad news, I wonder if he is going to be able to do business with gearpay. Dennis can take money orders so he should be fine, just a little more work on his part. I have tried my darnedest to find an email address for both ebay and paypal to register my anger over their recent actions.
Can't find anything, if some one has the info could you post it please so we can all do our part to put these guys on notice that they will not only lose the gun related commerce but that we refuse to do business with company's that utilize their venue.
