Buying Ammo

Post by abwehr »

Guys,

You know how we are always looking for the best deals on ammo! Well, I found something on the Browning 1919A4 Forum this morning that looks like it will be a couple of good wesites to keep. These are two websites that gives you pricing on various caliber ammo. They don't have all calibers listed yet, but many there are the ones we shoot. Both webistes give you cost of the ammo, shipping to your house, and the cost per round with and without shipping included. Take a look at these, I think you will LIKE them:

One thing you guys can do that would really really help me (guy behind ammodaily.com) and anyone else doing a similar website in the future is email your favorite store and ask them to add the shipping weight in their product listing. Tell them that midwayusa.com and natchezss.com both provide the shipping weight and that it would be very nice if your favorite store provided it as well. Actually, the shipping weight is only needed if your favorite store charges a shipping fee. For ammoman.com the shipping weight is unnecessary since shipping is free. Make sure you specify that you shop at their store frequently, etc.

Without the shipping weights I cannot calculate the shipping cost and thus can't add the ammo from your favorite store to ammodaily.com.

Thanks for checking out ammodaily.com! I can't do this site without your support. Keep in mind that it's still an early beta and under very active development so expect things to break, explode, hit with your shrapnel, etc. Enjoy!
