Aim has 9mm conversion barrels for CZ-52s. "Drop in"

May need to get one....and a CZ-52 to go with it.

You might want to get 2 CZ -52s then you can have one in 9MM and one in 7.62X25

CZ52 - 9mm barrels

Post by pshootr »

Aim Surplus says: "Original Czech made 9mm Barrels for the VZ52 (CZ52) pistol. Easily convert your 7.62x25 pistol to 9mm in minutes. No special accessories or magazines needed, simply change the barrel. These Barrels are in New Condition as pictured."

Looking closely at their pics it looks to me as if that means without the rollers and the roller cage and maybe without the barrel pin, can't make out for sure if the barrel is pinned or not.

See my post in the "buy - sell - trade" section under "CZ-52 9mm Barrel F.S."

CZ52 - 9mm barrels

That's a good price on those ... but beware that they are "drop-in" in theory only! The barrel is likely to be drop-in ... but getting the 9x19 rounds to feed reliably into that barrel with an extra 6mm of travel over the native 7.62x25 and without the inherent feeding advantages of the native bottlenecked round is a-whole-nother subject! I've heard that it is possible, but I've never seen one work well. That being said, I guess I should also say that I've only seen it tried on one CZ-52, so maybe my misfortune was the anomaly ... Also be sure to save the orig bbl as it isn't C&R as a 9x19.
