Formal training?
"Carrying a weapon may be a right in this country. Too many are unaware of (or flat out do not respect) the responsibility that exercising that right entails." Lets just focus on keeping it a "right". Attaching more "responsibility" to it only gives the gun control acti...

I'm very interested too. Start a new thread when you are ready to crank them out.

OK, now which springs?
OK, now I'd like to order some springs for the new P64. I would like to get the AD pull a little lighter. I shoot some of the silver bear, and reloads I do with 95Gr Hornady XTPs, 95Gr Speer HP, and 95Gr lead. I see Norm makes trigger springs, but haven't read how to buy them. I think I'd like the w...

Broke my new gun.
Thanks Norm. I wasn't sure how to get the left side open like that. But I was able to slide that bar up a little, enough to slide a small screwdriver in. Then pushed the spring down from the right side with a pick so the screwdriver would hold the spring while I inserted the trigger bar.

Broke my new gun.
OK, I got it. It was a bear to get the spring under the trigger bar post. I had to slide a tiny screwdriver blade in from the left side of the gun and from the right side hook it under that blade. Then put the trigger bar in and pull the blade out and the spring catches the post. I was over-thinking...

Broke my new gun.
I am looking at the right side of the gun. The trigger bar is now off. I can't tell if the longer pin on the front end of the trigger bar is supposed to have the spring going under it and ride in the groove. It looks like it should ride there but I can't get the trigger bar to go back in with the sp...

Broke my new gun.
:( Crap, just brought my new/used P64 home (from J&G). I opened the trigger guard and removed the slide like with my Russian Mak. But then I fiddled with the trigger and dropped the hammer. So then I think I wanted to recock the hammer and now the trigger won't do anything. I put the slide back ...

New P64 Owner
Hi all. I just ordered a P64 from J&G Sales and am looking for guidance with it. I have been shooting a Russian Makarov for a few years and reload 9x18. I found myself evaluating expensive pocket pistols and finally realized I was forgetting something good. The Keltec .380 sucked! Ruger LCP was ...
