New gun/Slight problem

New to the board and glad I found this place.
Just got my P-64 at the gun show today.
Has "PW Arms Redmond, VA" printed on one side. And "ZM LUCZNIK" printed right underneath that. Not sure how that fits into the realm of P-64's, but no matter. I really like this weapon. In fact, I jus shot a box of 50 rounds at the range and WOW! What an awesome little gun. No recoil to speak of. Even my 14 year old son loves to shoot it. Hit the target deadon at 15 yards. Shot the center out of it. In fact, I find it more accurate than my Walther P-1.
One small problem, though.
Works great in SA. In DA, the gun will dry fire. (Yes, I know it's not good to do so...but) For some reason, when there is a shell in the chamber, there is no way I can shoot it. The hammer goes back to a point and stops. I know the gun has a bad reputation when it comes to tough trigger pull. This, however doesn't seem to be due to a super-stiff trigger. I just won't go back past a certain point.
Anyone else have this problem in the past? If so, what was the solution?
I'll post some photos of this little gem. Really happy with this purchase.
