Paddywonka,
Beautiful S & W revolvers. I carried a 4" S & W model 15 for years when I first came into the Air Force as an SP. I should have bought that revolver when the service offered them up for sale. Never failed to qualify with the model 15 and it shot like a dream.
How do you like the 9mm S & W model 940 with the fullmoon clips? I tried to find one several years back, but settled on the old Model 60 that my uncle gave to me. My Pops friend had the WW1 .45acp S & W model 1917 which was a ball to shoot. I actually got my Pops S & W .38 Victory Model when he passed away. I let my older brother have it as he likes to carry it deer hunting in MD. I put hundreds of rounds thru it as a kid when Pop thought that I should learn to handle a revolver larger than our 9 shot H & R 999 sportsman 6" revolver.
You have some fine revolvers there. Thanks for sharing. Sgt P.

I too carried a model 15 on duty for years. was one of my all time favorites.(in Nickle)
I had been looking for one for ever in either blue or nickle.
I just had to find the right one in my hand first.
well a few monthes ago finally found a really nice one and now it is mine.I plan on using it to qualify every year for my ccw..
