I read a post by saands about working a feed ramp to better accept hp feed. I don't know if mine is doing the same thing or not. My 68 will jam (not all ways) with the shell at about a 45 degree angle. I was at the range and one stuck bad enough I had to pry it out very gently. Do you think I have the same problem you corrected or do you think I have a totaly different problem? If anyone knows something please feel free to jump in!!

Also I have an 18# trigger spring and a 20# recoil spring, I figured ya might need that too. I would think it would matter anyway in mho.

Thanks Norm, I figured I would have to polish the entire chamber to make a reliable feed along with the ramp etc. Just was'nt sure that was the whole problem.

Here is a pic. On the left is 1976. On the right is 1968. A little fuzzy, but you can see the ramp, the feed difference.

Yep ... that is what mine looked like ... I'm a little surprised that it feeds JHP's at all! I think that this is the best reason to have two of these fine little gems!

Good luck and go slow ... remember you can always go back and take more metal off, but it is really difficult to add metal back!!!!
