I sent them via photo bucket. They should come up when you click the link. This won't be the first computer anomaly I've had today. Later Don

truth - it couldn't have happened to a nicer guy. And that's the truth.

If I can understand what you wrote, it seems that you didn't ask that the repaired grips be replaced? Did you contact him to say they didn't work? This sounds like an issue that needed to be resolved. Instead you publicy barrage the person. Marschal also had some startup problems with his grips and stood behind his work and offered replacements.

dolang1,
I just saw the photo and the grips look even better on the "silver P - 64's". What is the correct term for that finish? Parkerised or nickel or ? Whatever it is they look great. Where can you find one with the silver finish? Did SOG ever have any?

Nice ones! I like the black walnut on the PA-63. I really like the looks and feel of the ones he made for me.

You know there are people who if you gave them a twenty dollar bill they complain you didnt give em 2 tens.
there is also a feed back section here he could have used with legitmate complaint even if legtimate he could have tried to resolve his issues in a different manner(key word here)

9x18shooter,

Can you measure how much thicker the palm/grip area is vs the standard black plastic grip?

He did contact us, and said the repaired grip still didn't work--but he was ready to quit fooling with it and let it go. We were a bit mystified that they didn't work, because they worked fine on my CZAK-- Christian always checks them, he eventually broke the firing pin dry-firing it to test grips, he always does that before he sends the grips out. So we were content to let it go too., and that was the last we heard of it til now.

And speaking of which--Don is right, this is a "show-off" thread for Dennis' grips--this is the last remark I'll make on this subject and I hope all will follow suit

TTH

The grips are only about 1/16" wider than the stock plastic non-thumbrest grips. I think the stock plastic grips are thinner at the backstrap as they start to taper on the side panles. The grips from Dennis provide more backstrap contact area and I am hoping will dissipate recoil better.

Himmel, Some of the best info I have gotten from this site has come off of hi-jacked posts. I'm glad there are a couple of people making grips now after not being able to find any. Tell Chris to keep up the good work because I know Dennis will also!
