Papabear,
I love those old revolvers, especially colts. I like those Colt government model 380 autos too in stainless but the price is a bit steep for me right now. Do you know if the government model and the mustang are the same thing?

The government model and the mustang are built on the same 1911 design, however, the mustang is a pocket size pistol [bbl 3" I think] and is a .380 and the government is a 5" model usually in .45acp, other wise the mustang is pretty much the same as the 80 series government internally.

I tried 4 a while 2 find a Mustang reasonably priced. Ain't paying twice what it's worth coz some1 else will. Same thing goes 4 S&W or Ruger 9mm revolver. Sorry they ain't museum pieces either as far as I'm concerned or that "rare". However the folks that have 'em 4 sale seem 2 think otherwise.............
