The 7th it is. Not sure about the camping yet. I want to, but let me get closer to the 7th and see how work is, I like to scoot out of work early on Friday if I'm camping. But Saturday, June 7th, we're shooting in Indiana. It's marked on the calender. Bring any targets we want, any handgun for show and tell plus ammo, and don't forget all the P64's and 9X18 that you have. Picnic lunch, etc. I'm looking forward to it. We can consider this practice for the match thats brewing on this forum

Not sure how far from Cleveland, Just search Brookville, Indiana State Reservoir and it should pop up some information then mapquest it. Bet it's five hours? Just guessing. It would be great if you could make it.

All right then. Saturday, June 7th for a shoot at the range in the Quakertown area of Brookville State Reservoir.
Bring whatever toys you like. It's not limited to P-64's.
There is a nice picnic area less than a quarter mile from the range.
The campground isn't much farther.
Everyone is invited and hopefully we'll have a few more show up.

anjdrifter,
electross was pretty close with his guess. The range to Cleveland is about 270 miles and 4.5 hours.

You already know, I'll be there. Looking forward to it. Trying to talk the wife into a camping trip. Looks like we're headed for Mamouth Caves the weekend before. It might be just a day event. It'll be fun finally catching up with you guys. ;D

I'm happy we pulled this together. Looking forward to it myself.
Will probably camp up the road at Whitewater Memorial Park that weekend.

Good info and directions.
I'm glad I don't have to clean all those guns.

electross,
Stopped by Aim for a bit more ammo. They still have Brown Bear.
Really wanted to take home one of the Sig 225's in the case but they're pre-order only.
SOG has no 9x18 at this time...the MFS they had was excellent and reloadable.

everyone else,
There's more of you in the area. Get off your powder kegs and join us.
Have a great day.

We're getting geared it sounds like!
donnerwetter58 I have one of the P6's (P225) from Aim. I'll let you play with it. It's a nice shooting handgun for the money. I mean a Sig for $259.00! What a deal.

Ahhh, haaaa, haaaa. I don't let them all shoot. The last time I let my 8 year old shoot a Marlin model 60SS with scope at the range, she did everything right...almost. She had her head behind the scope and when she got the cross hair's on the target she lifted up her head and looked down range then pulled the trigger. I said it won't stay they on it's own! You have to keep a bead on it until you pull the trigger. Got some work to do with her. Image

Gentlemen. Its only one week and we meet at the range. Will know about camping in the next day or so. My wife has had a cold and she's not sure yet if she is coming along. She does not shoot. So I might be shooting till noon and then window shopping in Metamora or just touring the area, hiking with her or something. Don't know about her plans yet but I'm shooting Saturday morning. Probably bringing five toys to play with. Thats about all I feel like cleaning. See everyone soon. :)
