Re: Newbie
Some 9x18 hollow point rounds don't expand much (if any) anyway. Silverbear in particular. I don't think a FMJ round would do any less damage than a HP round that doesn't open. Just curious, which 9x18 rounds DO reliably expand?

Re: Has anyone used a Fobus PPK holster for their P64?
I've got a Fobus paddle holster (OWB) for my P-64 and it fits and carries great with no modifications. The model number printed on the Fobus holster is: SG-3.

Re: Modified grip
I found that warming up the Hogue Handall in hot water and then drying it off, helped to stretch it over the grip of my P-64. A little baby powder also helps. I haven't had any trouble getting mine on. Getting them OFF in one piece however, is another story.

Re: CZ 82 Review---you have the 9x18 cartridge anyway!
Hey msgaigaie, if you're still on the board, is that Fobus holster you like for the CZ82 for the Kahr K40? I want to make sure that there isn't a different holster for a "40" model (without the "K"). I don't want to get the wrong one, as I have done that before. A link to purchas...

Re: No Action in Double-Action
Thank you for the insightful reply, Kirk. I'll dismantle the P-64 and check out the things you mentioned. The springs are new, coming as a set from Wolf springs and have not been altered or cut. I followed the installation instructions from this website and from a video on YouTube. Everything instal...

No Action in Double-Action
I've got a P-64 that had original springs in it. The double-action trigger squeeze has always been heavy but one-finger doable, but the recoil was "snappier" than I liked. I installed the Wolf springs kit a couple of months ago, but didn't get around to shooting the pistol until this weeke...

Laser for the P-64?
I just came across the LaserLyte side-mount laser that fits the LCP. It sells for $99. I am wondering if it might be possible to either drill-and-tap or even epoxy this laser onto the side of a P-64 below the slide? I have always liked the idea of using a laser on a self-defense handgun and the new ...

Re: Trigger Guard Pin?
Thank you for the responses, Gentlemen!
I'll take a close look at the pin when I get home and consider the dimpling vs. staking options.

Re: modified hammer (pic inside)
I guess you can do that sort of thing once you replace the springs. No way I can accurately shoot that first DA pull with stock springs. I've got to cock the hammer manually to be accurate on the first shot!

Trigger Guard Pin?
This weekend I shot half a dozen magazines through my P64. I noticed at the end of the session that the pivot pin at the rear of the trigger guard had worked its way almost out. I have never had that happen before. I got the pin reinstalled. Can anyone tell me what I can do to ensure that it doesn't...

Re: Which gun is the closest fit to a P-64?
Got the Fobus SG3 and my P-64 slid (and snapped) right in. No fuss. No muss. I think I'll like this holster.

Re: Fobus OWB Holsters?
I just received the Fobus SG3 from an eBay seller. My P-64 snapped right into the holster. Great retention with no need to heat up or expand the holster material. I am wearing it at my desk right now and I can already tell it is more comfortable than the thinner, leather IWB Red Storm holster that I...

Re: Fobus OWB Holsters?
Fortunately the folks at eBay store Buckndoes have a 30-day, free postage return policy (and very good customer communication), so I am sending the Fobus PPK holster back and getting the Fobus SG3 for my P-64. Thanks for posting the photos showing that the SG3 will fit the P-64.

Re: Which gun is the closest fit to a P-64?
I purchased a Fobus PPK1 holster (supposed to fit the Walther PPK.PPKS/PP) for my P-64 and it doesn't come close to fitting. It's way too small. The trigger guard won't even go in halfway. It's completely unusable for the P-64. So I went ahead and purchased the Fobus SG3 based on other member sugges...
