P64 Magazines
Good deal. Makarov.com has them for 12, but I guess I'll get another mag to make 3 for the CZ52.

How's P64 and PowR'ball?
Ammotogo - I've used them multiple times. They're great and the ammo gets to you quick! Their Ammo Cans are great as well.
Tried some Wolf Military Classic FMJ last weekend and it did fine. Shot 5 clips worth with only 2 stovepiping. Haven't tried the Barnaul FMJ yet

OT:CZ52 9mm Luger barrel
Thanks for the reply. I think I'll just hold off on barrel switching and keep my 52 shooting the 7.62 rds. The sad thing is, I haven't been able to shoot it yet >:( Maybe the wife will let me out of the house for an hour or two today before the sun goes down

OT:CZ52 9mm Luger barrel
Hey guys, just bought a CZ52 from a local dealer today. Can't wait to shoot some surplus ammo this weekend :) Makarov.com has the 9mm Luger barrels in stock and I was thinking about getting one. Does anyone on the board have any experience with these barrels on a 52? FYI - I'm almost done with the M...

After 4 firing range/cow pasture sessions with the M44 and 91/30, I don't bruise anymore ;D The blood vessels went somewhere else, I guess ??? That first day of shooting, I thought my arm was going to fall off! The P64 does have the new Wolff springs in it, so I didn't get to enjoy the recoil that h...

I'm thinking about either a dark walnut or a mahogany stain. I can't decide ???

Thanks all for the warm welcome :D I'm already having withdrawals from shooting it :o I cleaned it without a hitch this afternoon and let my kids handle it while I instructed them on proper handgun safety. And no, the gun was not loaded ;D They were like, "It's heavy! and Is it a real gun?"...

P64 as a first pistol
The 1972 P64 I bought last week was my first handgun and am very pleased with it after shooting 100 rds yesterday. I also bought it for the option of easy concealment since I'll be taking the handgun carry permit class soon. I'm also thinking about getting the CZ52 for a range gun since the surplus ...

I had thought about getting one for the wife when I was ordering, but wanted to try one out first. I have mine field stripped ready for a cleaning. I try not to hit the livestock. That would make for a very unhappy farmer and I would lose my free firing range ;D He got a bit peeved at me due to the ...

Hey guys! I purchased a 1972 P64 from Makarov.com last week and finally got a chance to shoot it yesterday. What a great little gun! I went through 25 rds of S&B FMJ and 75 rds of SilverBear HP. Had 2 casing that got jammed on the extraction, but no other problems. I was going to keep the casing...

Right you are! One can never have enough ammo. I started with the 91/30 and just had to get an M44 the next week. If/when I buy ammo, I'll always pick up 440/880 of the x54R. Now, if I could only find a SVT40 I could afford!!!

Hey Bobby, nice looking M44. I have a M44 and a 91/30 that I was thinking about refinishing. Any tips/hints/directions before I start on mine?
Thanks, Cliff
