Re: After 2 Months Pending Dennis Has Started Machining My g
I have the first set of grips that came off of his new machine. All of my P-64's have Dennis grips on them and I love how each set looks. Bad news is that my son talked me out of one of my P-64's the last time he was home. IMO his grips are worth the wait.

Re: Chronograph Results
Buffalo Bore in +P used in a 38 snubbie would be a hand full. but for good ammo Hornady CD is imho some of the best personal defensed ammo on the market. It feeds good in all of the pistoles I shoot it in (Makarov, P-64 and LCP) and as far as I can tell from what I have read on line the penetration ...

Re: Chronograph Results
Thanks for the chrono results. That answers my questions on fps and ft. lbs. on the pistol. I think with the 2" bbl on the 38 snubbie results would be close, maybe a little more power, but not much more. Again speculation on my part. The reason I am compairing the two guns is alot of people say...

I really like the mods, I might try it on my Makarov. Nice pics also.

Re: Chronograph Results
Keep this post going! I think with some of the new and improved 380 ammo out there one will see that a 38 snubbie will not be that much more powerful a round. The 9X18 might even be close to even with a 38. This is just speculation from me.

Re: Chronograph Results
Thank you for posting that information. I wondered how close a 9x18 round was to a 380.

Re: Gun Blueing With Airbrush
It doesn't take a large air compressor to use an airbrush, however, it does take a larger one to do bead blasting or sand blasting to clean your pistol.

S&W Bodyguard .380
I bought one of these S&W pistoles about a month ago and have found a great carry gun. In terms of accuracy at 25 ft. I can place a group the size of a soft ball ( I shake a little) and the recoil is very manageable. It weighs in at less than 1 lb. and is 3/4 of an inch thick. It has a built in ...

Re: P-64 safety/trigger operation
There are only 2 settings on a p-64's safety. On and off. With the safety on the trigger should move fully and the hammer should be down. There is a decocker on the p-64 so when you put it on safety with the gun in the cocked position it will drop the hammer safely. The safety may be a little stiff ...

Re: Prosepective P64 owner
I think for the money it is one of the best buys on the market. It is concealable, accurate and ammo is not hard to find. I just gave my son one of my p-64's and he is one happy camper. I carry mine alot and have never felt under gunned. That is a good price on that p-64, I say buy it.

Re: "Short" Marschal P-64 Grips
I have Marschal grips on all of my P-64's and I love them. I really like that Zebra wood. I don't think that a person could get a better bargain or quality product than Marschal. JMHO

Re: modified hammer (pic inside)
I have a spare round hammer and the hammers on my P-64's are triangular. I wonder how a triangular hammer would look if it was cut? I really like the looks of a cut hammer, something less to snag on your clothing.
