Re: Another (ANOTHER) new member
They fixed it. The paperwork says "disconnector adjusted" which makes me wonder if they replaced it or just moved it.

Re: Another (ANOTHER) new member
I'm not much a fan of century's communication. I signed up for notifications from UPS and today got an email saying ups will be delivering something from Century that someone over 21 needs to sign for. Here's hoping that my disconnector works and I can go about shooting this bad boy. I've already go...

Re: Another (Yet Another) New Member
Welcome, this place is great, just look through the gear forum for the appropriate holster. I've settled on the sig pocket holster for me, as this will be my BUG.

Re: new guy from reno!
Buying ammo online isn't too tough, but the savings really comes when you buy in bulk. Check out gunbot.net or one of the other ammo trolling sites to find the best deals. I haven't got a chance to shoot my p64 yet, but my makarov loves everything I've put throug it. Red army standard, Tula, wolf, e...

Re: Finished Duracoat project
Did you Duracoat the grip as well or did you get ZeeBorg to make a set?

Re: Another (ANOTHER) new member
Century got back to me the next day and sent me a prepaid FedEx shipping label. I sent the p64 in and haven't yet heard from them, though the tracking number says it was delivered. Have any of you ever had to deal with Century? What's the average turnaround time on warranty repair?

Re: Another (ANOTHER) new member
I hope so Curly1, but Classic Firearms is known for their great products, not their great support. We'll see how it turns out. Even so, looks like a cheap and easy fix

Re: Another (ANOTHER) new member
Looks like the disconnector might be broken, since the gun won't decock after being safed. I've reached out to classic firearms, hopefully their support isn't as bad as it's been purported. Otherwise I'll buy another disconnector for $25 or so.

Re: Another (ANOTHER) new member
I picked it up at my FFL today. It's a very nicely finished 1973 CAI imported P64. Both magazines that it came with are in great shape, though the serial numbers don't match the gun. It is absolutely drenched in oil, so I'll be tearing it down and working it with mineral spirits. The only down side ...
