how does the extractor spring cause the slide not to go fully forwards?

Counted my 9mm brass and have a grand total of 541 lol

O and this is my edc so i am trying to get some brass cased ammo

Thanks i didnt know that about the blazer messing the extractor up. i just spent two days and the pit where people shoot picking up brass plenty of 9mm luger to resize and lots of 45 and little bit of 40 just for the heck of it. sooner or later i will get a 45. It probably me not gripping it enough ...

LOL i meant return to battery i think is what they call it. the second or third shot when the slide went forward something stopped it. It was open enough to where the extractor wouldnt grab the cartridge which hadnt been fired because the slide was not all the forward.

Well went to the range today and put 43 rounds through her today wanted to keep a mag plus 1 in the gun so didnt shoot all 50. shot flawlessly except for some reason it didnt return to the closed position. Other than that it never failed. Man does that thing like to jump after 2 or three mags i had ...
