I removed slide and grips, then removed slide stop bar to examine trigger return spring. Did not remove trigger but spring looked intact like Norm's photo. Everything appeared to be pretty clean but I flushed everything out with mineral spirits toothbrush then air compresser. Cleaned everything up, ...

p-64 trigger will not reset
Just picked up a 1973 p-64 like new at Cabelas's for $179. Went through 50 rounds and first two mags went ok then it started to not reset trigger every 3-5 five shots.
