To console myself I bought a FEG 380 yesterday. Now I have "Twins" a FEG 380 and a FEG SMC 918. Pictures to follow.

I already moved e-v-e-r-y part from #1 to # 2 with the same results. If I still had my venier caliper I would have mic'd the frame and slide to see if there was any substantial difference.

For now, #1 is a parts/future project gun.

I bought 2 saftey and firing pin sets from the Polish connection on GB. I figure that I'll just stick them in a drawer and hope I never need them. I did some checking in the Norfolk Va area with a few local machine shops - the cost was crazy. If you can get them for under $100 a piece you're doing GREAT.

The holster is stamped "Front Line" and it came with the gun as a package deal. It obviously fits the PA 63 but my P 64 and SMC 918 also fit it and the IWB black holster that is in the pic.

For those of you who may have been following my "PA 63 Fails to Cock" discussion I thought I'd throw in a few pictures of #2 - the gun that works.

Well I took #1 and #2 to the range today. I had all of #1's parts in #2 and vice versa. #2 shot fine - #1 still would not cock. I am at a total loss on this.

I swapped the sear pins out and took #1 and # 2 to the range. #1 still had the same issues. #2 fired flawlessly with #1's sear pins. I did notice that the trigger bar on #2 appeared to have more mass on the lug that fits into the sear notch than #1. I will swap out the trigger bar and let you know.

My apologies to everyone who has offered advice and may be waiting for feedback. I haven't had time to try any repairs - I had to relocate my restaurant (lease issues) and didn't go to the range for 3 months. Just now starting to get back to a normal schedule when Christmas snuck up on me. I promise...

Received the gun on June 18th. First inspection revealed what appeared to be a low round count, pristine pistol. As soon as I checked the safety I realized that I had a problem - it wouldn't move. Knowing my luck a rare aluminum oxidizer will infest it with a by-product that eats plastic.

Just got an update from the World's Greatest Postal Service - the "package" was picked up on the 11th and actually processed through their facility on the 15th. I hope they packed this gun in cosmoline 'cause at this rate it'll be a rusted clump by the time it gets here. Okay - I'm venting.
