Is my p64 shot?
As I was changing out the hammer spring I took a good look at the hammer strut. The engagement surface is worn to the point of metal hooking or forming a wire edge around it. Its a 70 model with good clean rifleing but some obvious ware and tear. Any expert opinions on this? It has functioned just f...

do you not use the spring fix?
As a new p 64 shooter the first thing I jumped on were the springs. After a shooting session monday I changed them back to stock. Too many missfires with the light hammer spring.

Spring questions
I know this is an older post, but by way of introduction I thought I would concur with Norms thought on the hammer springs. Tried a 17# today and though the DA pull is nicer there were several failure to fire with steel case shells.
