Slide doesn't lock back - heavier recoil spring
HI there. Just wondering if your P64 slide doesn't lock back after installing the heavier recoil spring. I have 3 mags now and 2 of them didn't lock back after the last shot (with the new spring). Haven't switched it back with regular spring but worked great before the install. It would lock back em...

Silver HP feed issues
i just started another thread. I used the heavier recoil spring and polished the feed ramp the night before. I ran 2 mags at the range with no FTE or FTF's. One one mag, the slide didn't lock, which was strange.

2nd range report - weird issue ?
Alrighty. I am happy with my P64 as i stated before in another thread. I am even happier that I ordered from JG the following - extra mag, 22 lb recoil spring and some silver bear JHP and FMJ. The recoil spring needed to be ground off. No problem with that. While i was at it, i polished the feed ram...

silver bear ammo - corrosive ?
HI there. Just received 7 boxes of FMJ and HP from JG yesterday. I was just wondering if they are corrosive or not since (IIRC) they have berdan primers. I do the windex first and WD-40 with my mosin and was just wondering if this is necessary with the silver bear brand. Thanks

trigger pull
Recoil spring is just to tame the recoil due to the P64's small size. Not affecting the trigger. Some places do sell combo (buy recoil spring, they give you the mainspring) like JG. Maybe a fluke but i ordered just the recoil srping but it came with the mainspring :). What Norm and Dickfunk said in ...

Racking the slide with the safety on?
happens with mine also. I try not to rack it that often with the safety on just for good measure.

Silver HP feed issues
i haven;t tried them in mine yet but just received 3 boxes of those yesterday from JG. Feeding and ejecting manually (slowly, not slingshooting it), the rounds feed no problem. I hope they perform fine under real firing condition. I got a dremmel tool ready should the need arise.

Wolff Spring Issue
i had the same thing happened when i tried to do it at home. According to a lot of members here, the solution is as simple as sanding down the end (face) of the spring. I will try it when i have time and show the results.

Getting to know the P64 (longish)
IMO i am going to leave the trigger alone. Just get some snap caps and practice with it. Like you said, the SA is already nice and crisp as it is. I let friends try it in both DA and SA and they're amazed at how nice the SA is. I can't imagine it being any lighter. WITH THAT BEING SAID, when i order...

WELCOME THREAD AND MEM, INFO
Hi there, i just joined also. Got my P64 by accident. A lady bought the P64 as her purse gun but she didn't like how it recoiled. So she put it up for sale. I was just browsing along the b/s/t thread until i saw her selling a P64, 2 mags, 90 rds of fiocchi fmj ammo plus original holster (with cleani...

well, i guess that's how they made it in those days. Anyway i got a 9mm range toy, so i guess i'll just shoot the P64 every now and then until i'm ready to get CCW.

Thanks martilyo. It was actually an accidental find. I was just browsing a forum just looking for a deal and close by. I had in mind a bersa thnder or CZ 82. Then i saw this lady selling this for cheap. I did some research and ended up here. I concluded that this is a good gun for the money and went...

forgot to mention the ejection was REALLY positive. Ejected brass seems to fly real fast. Couldn't catch it with my eye (when a friend shot it) and that it's a 1969 model with round hammer.
i got a bluing kit from academy to finish my mosin nagant. This thing will get the touch up as well.
