Well after some filing I got the slide on. It's a bit tricky taking it off now and the slide is definitely a bit harder to pull back. I can't wait to take it to the range to see how much this will tame the recoil.

I don't have a grinder so I was using a file. I filed them a lot and it's seemingly flat but the spring still won't go on.

I'm having the same problem and I was wondering if the 22 lber was just too strong for my particular P64. I bought both the 20 and 22 lb recoil spring not knowing which would work best in my gun. Odd question, each recoil spring also came with a tiny spring in it from Wolf. What is that spring for? ...
