My next question would be after removal of metal can you properly reshape the feed lips to the correct profile?
Yes. It has been done with success. If you search here there is a thread outlining trimming them down to match, with pictures.tdarron wrote:If that's the case couldn't I just file them to be correct (and then deburr them obviously, no one like slashed thumbs)
