Bartos comes through again.

I really like the holsters. The black holster on the left is current army issue for the P-64 and P-83. I'll have to figure out how to wear that shoulder holster. It's very well made, and just slightly broken in so it looks comfortable.

Bartos added a couple of interesting items. This second photo shows "official issue pistol target number 23p/4". Bartos wrote that this target is for air rifles at 10 meters. Enlarged 4 times it would be used for "P-64 Drill #1 shooting".

Also in the second photo, lying on top of the target, is one of the pieces of candy he added. Here's his description:

"Those sweets are traditional Polish candies. Those are official military candies. We gave them to Iraqi and Afghani children for fighting for their "Brains and Hearts" :)" (Smiley face was added by Bartos).

He wrote his note on Polish Paratrooper stationary. He is justifiably proud of his service.

We are fortunate to have such a Polish gentleman contributing to this forum. Many thanks for the great items Bartos. Come visit someday!

I wanted to add that I wanted those manuals for my collection, but also to look up what information there was on the 9x18 bullet designed for the P-64. A lot of us have been given that piece of paper along with our pistols that purports to be a "manual", and in that document it states that the P-64 shoots a 70-grain bullet.

These manuals list the specifications for the 9x18 bullet the P-64 shoots. They describe it as 6-grams (92.6-grains), at a velocity of 315 meters (1,034 feet) per second. In my mind, that closes the controversy produced by the error in that "manual".

Searcher, you realize that Bartos sells what he can accumulate, so he won't have set prices. In this instance the shoulder holster was $17. I wouldn't hold him to that cost. I'll try to remember to post how the holster works if I can figure it out. I haven't spent time on it yet.

His for-sale items are listed on the buy/sell page:

nbender,

thats some neat looking stuff you got from bartos.

would asking you to post a scanned copy of the real manual and the brochure for us in the "official manual" section of the forum be out of the question?

It probably would be too much. Way too many pages! And it's all in Polish.

One more note on my purchase:

Here's to Bartos and his military service. He's proud, and I'm appreciative of what he does.
