Painfully sharp trigger reset?

New to the P64 world.
Got a nice one from the latest AIM shipment, not hand selected.

As recommended, I swapped in the Wolff recoil and hammer (18#) springs.
Trying different loads, I find it relatively easy to shoot into a tight group at 10 yards.
Recoil is quite tolerable for a blowback 9x18 this small.
The downside is that the trigger resets so sharply that it really stings my trigger finger.
Just wondering if this is the "nature of the beast", or if swapping springs has upset its designed balance?

thanks.

The trigger reset should not have been effected by the two you swapped. You probably have one that the trigger spring has not been broken in to much. Should ease up with time.

trigger reset stings? I don't even understand what that means...you sure your finger isn't just slamming into the trigger guard during recoil?

He may be talking about trigger slap.

Exactly what I was trying to describe.
Is there any fix possible on this P-64?

Some comments here on it.

As noted in that thread I also hold the trigger back until recoil is done.
