I recently purchased a 1968 manufactured P64 from AIM Surplus. It came with 2 magazines, one the old style s/n'd to the gun (short feed lips) and another later style magazine (longer feed lips). I have fired at least 50 rounds through both magazines and they both functioned perfect in my early style gun. I would be interested to know if other people have tried the different style mags to see if the work in the early (1972 and earlier) pistols.
