Very nice photo's.
Who did you order the checkered grips from and what kind of wood are they made of?
VERY VERY NICE ...................... G.R.

Those are Denis Marchal's grips ... I'm not a wood specialist, so I can't say what wood they are made from.

Speaking of lighting ... I recently saw an idea that I have yet to try ... you take a gallon milk jug and cut the bottom all the way off and cut the top off far enough to get the lens into ... then the light that you supply from the outside gets diffused as it passes through the opaque milk jug and ends up lighting the subject without shadows or bright spots ...

Saands.
