Do you have to change the recoil spring when you change the main/hammer spring have a lighter DA trigger pull?

Welcome to the forum. The recoil spring has nothing to do with the amount of force necessary to pull the trigger. Some say a heavier recoil spring reduces felt recoil. Personally I've ran all three and really don't notice that much difference. I run the 20# spring because I tend to shoot pretty hot ammo and a heavier spring helps reduce wear and tear on the gun. Thanks for the info it really helped me out. Thanks for welcoming me to the forum, I have lurked around for awhile but never actually posted. I really enjoy my P-64 shooting and carrying.
