I've been sitting here wondering. If our P-64's became as popular as the Mak's what accessories would you like to see? For me I'd like to see some caliber conversions, .380, 22, maybe even .32 NAA.

How about flat magazine bottoms and not the pointed pinky finger rest so that in concealed carry use with a holster when you bend forward that area doesn't print through the shirt as much. Kinda like they did on the new Bersa concealed carry model vs. the original design which had the pinky rest.

A seven round mag. with a flat bottom and a set laser grips from Crimson Trace. Also, as long as it is Christmas, would some one please start making some reasonably priced brass cased 9x18 ammo. both for the range and self defense?

I know I'd be happy!

I agree flat bottomed magazines would be great. If I remember right I seen a photo on the forum that a guy ground off the finger rest. I'll have to see if I can find that again.

Thanks for the link 9x18shooter. I just finished taking off the finger rest on one of my mags. It conceals much nicer now.

Unfortunately, the production of these pistols in Poland ceased in 1983 with the new P 83 model. All the P 64s on the market are from pre-1983 era and there will be no new ones. It might not be difficult to fiddle around with the magazine floor plate and a finger rest but changing the caliber (as someone suggested) would be an entirely different story. Knowing the very litigeous society we live in now who would want to venture in this uncharted territory of producing a different caliber barrel with all the liability attached to it?
Too bad, because this pistol just cries out for modifications, IMHO.

I wish they had copied the PPK magazine release.
No high capacity. Keep it slim.
Other than that, stainless would be nice.

You could probably fabricate a mag bottom outa metal stock easy enough w/o sacrificing the finger rest. Of course it is your 2 do as ya wish......................

What I'd like to see become available would be Hogue-type rubber grips. I surely wish someone would make those sorts of grips for the P-64 at a reasonable price!
By the way, 9x18shooter, thanks for the info. The pinky extension had broken on one of my P-64's, and I am looking forward to taking it off. Just as well, as I've never cared much for pinky extensions on any pistol.

i bought a hogue grip sleeve and cut it to length and it works very well for ME. Some won't like them but i enjoy the feel of it and my Boys all oogle over it. Looks pretty good on it but would make carrying it concealed a pain in the arse. anyhoo= for 8$ it was worth the try.
