A gentleman is selling off his Makarov collection on Gunboards. I was lucky enough to have him respond to a WTB ad. $225 + $15 shipping. In original box with original wax. It was a bit difficult to get on my Bulgarian, but I think it will get easier with practice. Hopefully, I can break away and get to the range with it tomorrow.
I wish to hell someone made one of these things for the P64.
Just got a Makarov .22LR kit

Quite frankly I don't understand these 22 conversion units.
If you want to shoot a 22 buy a 22.
I mean a 22 conversion for a 1911 is IMO a waste, why did you buy it if you didn't want to shoot a 45?
I'm not trying to crap on yer parade just saying.

For me, I love the feel of the Mak in my hand and I felt it was getting out of hand to spend nearly $50 bucks every time I want to put 100 rounds down range.Curly1 wrote:Quite frankly I don't understand these 22 conversion units.
