Well, I really like these grips more than other Stock Grips I've seen, which are rather plain.

Can these contoured grips be purchased, anywhere ? OR - are any Dealers selling this version of the P-64 ?

Could it be an early P-64, or a late one ?

I stand corrected I didn't see the contour in them.

Not sure what those are now.

Looks like it has the round hammer so I'm thinking it's an earty one

I really like the look of them.

I'll have to search the Web and see if I can find what the other side looks like.

HERE IS THE GOOGLE TRANSLATION. FOR PICS GO TO THE WEB SITE

NOTE THE AUTHOR STATES: P64 pistol, a copy shown in the picture has a non-genuine brake handle.

P64 "Czak"
P64 "Czak" is a Polish gun to arms in the 60's. In English-language sources of weapons very often referred to as the "Polish Makarov", it should be noted that the P64 is not a copy of the Soviet gun PM "Makarov". P64 works on the principle of free lock recoil after firing the last cartridge from the magazine lock stops in the rear position. A weapon does not have a lock release button in the front position. Very interesting and unique feature of the gun is the lock latch ejector used simultaneously. Impact mechanism used with an external tap and trigger the samonapinaniem (DA). P64 is powered Soviet 9x18mm cartridge. Power is a single row of a box magazine capacity of 6 rounds, the magazine is finished kopytkiem. The magazine catch is located on the underside of the handle, it is not a good solution because it makes it difficult to quickly change the magazine. The gun is an indicator of the cartridge in the chamber. Fuse wing also performing the function of retarding the valve is on the left side of the lock. P64 has fixed sights consisting of a bow and szczerbinki set to 50m. This is not a good solution because the gun does not shoot at so great a distance (which is why most modern design has fixed sights set on 25m). In the course of production introduced minor changes such as guns manufactured since 1972 have a different shape of the tap. The metal parts of weapons are made by machining, plastic cladding made only handle and the last magazine. Advantages P64 is a small size, light weight, simple design, good quality. Disadvantages of a small magazine capacity, a lack of locking the release button in the front position, very well placed magazine clip, a very heavy trigger when samonapinania (110N), too short handle and large recoil and low reliability. P64 is still used by the Polish police, his successor was built in the 80's P83 pistol "Vanadium".

cartridge 9x18mm
initial velocity of the projectile 305m / s
Barrel length 84.6 mm
length 160mm
mass 620g unloaded
magazine Single-row box-with a capacity of 6 rounds

Markings seen on the castle have been applied to meet U.S. regulations

Magazine for P64

Gun holster for P64

As you can see the P64 holster is not very well done

So these grips are not original. I guess we knew that.

They sure are pretty.

If you search around, every once in a while you will see them come up for auction somewhere. I think I saw a sight somewhere a while back that offered after market P-64 grips with that same type of thumb rest. You could also check with Zee, I think you can get the thumb rest on his grips.

Also the CZAK is just the designation for the P-64, it's the initials of the officers that designed it. Much like the M.A.G. - 95 and 98. MAG makes it annoying to search for though.

Those are standard issue thumbrest grips for the P64. Very common, and at one point, more common than flat panel grips.

This is my gun
