I think I'll make a run down to Aim this week myself. I live about 25 miles from Aim. I need to stock up on the Silver Bear. Warm weather is just around the corner and I plan on lots of range time. I'm gonna build some new target holders this year. Does anyone have any cleaver target holders they've made ? Something lightweight, portable and car interior friendly?

The best targets I've come up with lately are pieces of sheet rock. They put out a glorious puff of white smoke when hit, you can easily find the stuff, and it reverts back to nature when powdered.

I'm likin' that sheetrock idea. I carry a small box/carton & cut "targets" from feed sacks. 3ply sacks cut in half gets me 12 targets 2 a sack. Ducttape 2 box n draw a circle w/magic marker or get fancy n affix 1 o' dem orange official target stickers.

Naw Papabear,
I work about two days a week in security, but I got a two week "escort" that I just finished. So I,m getting some goodies. I got the Don Hume JIT holster & the silver bear ammo today. Ammo looks good & the holster is a perfect fit. I should get the clipdraw & the mags tomorrow. BTW,
I was reading an article today that explained that the Gov. already has the power to ban "military" type (FMJ) ammo from other countries. (Like they did with the parts kits). I think it would be wise to stock-up on you favorite ammo while you can, and I have to give Aim Surplus a big hand..they have always been great to deal with.

I just got back from AIM. I did'nt realalize that you can buy a firearm from them in person just like at a gun shop. I thought they would only sell firearms to dealers. That's just for on line purchases I take it. They were pretty busy, had to wait in line awhile. I got 250 rounds of Silver Bear FML 9mmx18. Only $6.95 a box. They said they have lots of it. It is finally a warm day here. It's about 55 degrees and heading for 60 this weekend.

redfestiva,
Glad to hear they have plenty of ammo. I will order more next week. I have shot thousands of rds of silver bear w/out any problems, including FA. You are lucky to live so close to them. If you ever here of any of thier ammo getting low, please lets us know.
Thanks
Sam
