I have a PPK versus a PPK-S. Can't speak to longevity, however in terms of reliability, they seem to be about the same. Never had an issue with my PPK or any of my P-64s. In terms of accuracy, it's not even a contest; my P-64s will leave the PPK in the dust.

I have the PPK and PP in 0.32 and a PPK/S in 0.380. All are accurate but I agree the P64 is the one that I choose first. DaveN

Do the spring changes and it looks like a tie pretty much.

Germans over complicate stuff. They're fantastic Engineers but seem vulnerable to the idea that Design by Committee is the way to go. So the Horse becomes a Camel that costs a lot of money, has cool features but breaks more than it ought to.

The best argument for the P-64 is that it uses a 9x18mm round. Much stockier than the 380 ACP.

I have both also, it is a case of Beauty and the Beast.

I prefer to have the beast on my belt.
