The MAG98's service was short for only one major reason- it did not meet the requirements that were written down by the Polish Military (it said the gun could not weigh more than 800g). Neither the MAG-95 nore the MAG-98 met the requirements and therefore they were not bought. MAG-98 and 95 are actually great guns, very reliable and in Poland they go for 400,500 and even600 dollars (especially the MAG-95). A normal price for a 98 is 470 dollars.

Just a heads up SOG has some mags available for the MAG98. I picked one up last week and liked what I saw, have another 3 coming. $23.95 plus shipping, and be sure to add that you want USPS flat rate shipping in the comments box. Otherwise you may have a minimum $15.00 shipping charge I believe.
