I have a PA-63 that will not allow the decocker to engage. It just will not let you thumb down the thing. Never had this problem before. Anyone have any advice? If I pull the hammer back just a hair and push down on the decocker it works fine. I'm at a loss.

Part 21 at 'buymilsurp.com', the 'hammer release', it sticks up through a slot in the left side of the frame. The safety cams this part down when engaged and it presses the sear out of engagement with the hammer.
The top and front inside the frame should show wear marks. Polish and smooth these areas. Also check the sear where the release makes contact and polish this area.

Yeah I tried all the polishing techniques but no luck, oh well at least it still shoots I guess.
