Polish a Polish chamber?

Guess w/straight wall ya wouldn't..............
Given that the friction of the brass on the steel is likely to take some of the stress of the firing, I'd say that polishing the chamber would be counter-productive ... the poor thing seems underweight and undersprung already ...
