M-57 Tog 7.62x25 holsters

Post by robchart »

Just bought this M-57, don't have it yet, am having it chrome plated. Can anyone help me find a holster with some bling, shoulder or hip, or both, that will be a good fit. Thank you,, I appreciate any input.

Can't help on the holster front, but let us know if you find a good price on ammo. Seems like all the surplus stuff has dried up (for now). It's been a while since I have seen the sub $90 tins.

May have to have a custom holster made to get it flashy. About the only Tok ammo to find right now is about $16. http://www.wideners.com/itemdetail.cfm? ... 163&dir=18 Prvi Partizan. Kinda glad I got rid of my CZ-52. http://www.classicarms.us sells the hard chrome plated Yugo M57 Toks for $280. Comes with holster and 2 chrome mags, $17 shipping.

$16.00 is about the going rate today for ammo. I was referring to the surplus stuff that was going fot about $.11 a round (~$8.25 for a box of 75). That was a great price and it seemed to disappear about 4 or 5 months ago. I am hearing that another shipment is coming into the US, but nothing confirmed.

The surplus stuff is gone. I sure did notice that. I suppose you could find it at local gun shows but that's about it. Tok shooters may have to start buying dies and bullets and load them up. Save a bit of money, non-corrosive, and be able to have supply when others are out.

My Polish TT-33 came with a Chinese holster that's lined with blue corduroy.

Thanks for the replies. Settled for hip holsters advertised from Classic arms, where I bought the weapon. Don't think I'd spend the x-tra money again. to have it chromed. Also bought one, not chromed, from Windeners, beautiful gun & narry a mark on it. Like this powerful handgun. Unable to find ammo under $16., but not to concerned as it is to be used primarly as defensive weapon & not target shooting. Again,,,thank you.

I am on my 5th tin from J&G without a single issue. This is almost twice what they were charging 6 months ago, but still better than most places.
