Gents, I'm considering the purchase of an S&W 29-2, with serial number "N800952". With that, any info regarding the year it was sold? Thanks in advance.

Thanks JAGGUY. Was able to do some digging on that site and found a link to another site that broke down the serial numbers by model numbers. Looks like that serial number was made around 1981.
