This is a special time of year, and hope that you and yours enjoy it.

As I look back, I do really appreciate how this board has pretty much stayed on course, and shared things about the P-64 that have helped others.

After reading a lot of stuff over the years about the celebrated 1911 45 Auto, I am amazed that we have really had very few problems, compared to the pistol that gets all the attention, but still can't be built by the best makers today to perform nearly as well as our P-64.

So I say thanks to all the folks on our board, and wish you all a Merry Christmas, and a very Happy New Year.

I am a long time MAK shooter/collector. I am relatively new to this board- having only had a P-64 for a few months, but I have found this site to be invaluable. I have fixed problems, found beautiful grips, and even sold a mak thru this site. You guys are all AWESOME! MERRY CHISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL OF YOU!

I was raised to hunt. Some my earliest memories was sitting on top of my fathers shoulders while he hunted rabbits. With my short legs I could not stay up with him and his friends. I a one time reloaded for the '06, 41mag ruger, .243,.303british. As time went by I quit. Don't know why. My state came out with a ccw law and I had become something I swore I would not do... Became a grumpy old man :-).. Went to a gun show - heard of a Mak. Did some research. Went to a local gun shop-- bought what I thought was a Mak. What the H*** is a P64.. Could not find anything about it. Went to some forum and they would laugh and bad talk you weapon. So I received no information. Like some do the HiPoints today.

Whats all of the above got to do withthe season.. Well I finally found someone else with a "P64". Our forum is growing. On those other forum they most time even talk nice about us. I don't post a lot.. But I do check MY forum everynight that I can... And we don't get into those pissing contest some of the other forums can't seem to stay out of...

So to MY FORUM and buds I wish you and yours a very merry Christmas and a happy new year. Of course to be PC Happy Holidays.. BUT I'm aGRUMPY OLD MAN SO MERRY CHRISTMAS :-)
