Are the FEG 918 and SMC 380 pistols the same except for the different calibers? And is an unfired SMC 380 (perfect condition) worth $240?

As far as I know they are the same except for the caliber.
$240 is probably fair for N.I.B. condition, although it seem a bit high to me.
Extra mags would bring a premium. The factory six round mags are hard to find, though the seven rounders for the PA-63 will work just as well except for concealment purposes. According to Marschal the grip maker the FEG R61, RK59, SMC-918 grip will interchange.

They are the same but for the bore. I'd note that some of the later SMC 380s were brought in with a steel frame, not the earlier anodized aluminum frame.
