Dry firing your P-64

Post by dgposton »

I guess it's kind of late to ask now that I've already dry fired it hundreds of times, but is there any cause for worry? Do I really need to use snap caps? If so, which ones do you prefer?

thanks

You answered your own question IMHO, but the general thought on any gun is not to dry fire, but I dried fired all 5 of my P-64's a few hundred times to lighten up the DA on all mine, and no spring changes and no problems, but that doesn't mean it won't break the firing pin or something else, bottom line here is to remember that are few parts for the P-64, however, I believe the firing pin can be found from a member here.
